E70 stock boost pressure.
I have a 2013 x5 35i. I installed BimmerLink and BimmerCode. My boost shows 14psi and higher according to BimmerLink. I thought the stock boost was closer to 10. Is there a way to see if the previous owner did some type of tune and what it is? Thanks

Mine shows the same thing on BimmerLink. I was told that the apps don't compensate for base atmospheric pressure - or something like that. You need to subtract about 14 from the boost number. Cruising on the highway at 80mph - my boost was 16.6... I knew something was up.
If you do a search it should come up. I can try to find it if you can't. |

Stock boost is around 10psi, but can can peak around 12psi. If you have an EWG, which I think they implemented in 2012, then the boost can peak around 14psi. |
