Anyone have any good experience with pre painted body parts?
Hey fellas, im looking to replace the driver side fender and other peices on my 2012 e70 35i. Factory color is a52 space gray. Ive come across the part prepainted in the following link.
https://paintedautobodyparts.com/bmw...enders-1040916 Anyone ever order from these guys before? Anyone every get pre painted parts from anyone? If so, how did the color match up? I would like to do some repairs on my own but the only thing im not capable of is painting. If I can get parts prepainted and make the repairs myself it will save me several G's. Another option i'm pondering is buying a bumper and feder bramd new primed and send it to a body shop just to get painted. Anyone with body experience know what a reasonable cost is to have just a bumper and fender painted? Thanks for reading. |

I recently picked up a front upper grill for my Tundra - prepainted, even though I painted the lower grill surround and fender flares. My paint match was spot on, the piece I bought was way off. To the point that I am going to paint that. It all depends on the painter, it is a toss up with up you get.

I have a space gray 2011 x5 and I put on a wide body kit. I have both passenger and driver side fenders, running boards and front bumper. You can have it all for free, the cost would be shipping. I'm in central Florida, 15 miles east of Orlando. I'd be glad to give it away.
