Wheel Help
Hey guys, Im new to this forum. I have a BMW X6 2010 and Im interested in buying wheels. I had a couple questions:
1. Can a 20x10 wheel fit up front? 2. What tire width do you guys recommend for a 20x10 square set up? 3. Does the 2010 X6 Canadian spec use TPMS sensors? The wheel dealer in montreal told me my car does not, though dealers in the US told me I do need sensors. 4. Lastly, does anyone run Avant Garde wheels on their X5/X6? Opinions on the brand? Thanks in advance! |

3. No the Canadian version does not use TPMS sensors in the wheel, at least up until MY2014. In Canada the system is integrated with the ABS and works on measuring tire rotation not pressure. This is referred to at FTMS (flat tire monitoring system).

With the correct offsets you can run 10" up front. I run 10.5 up front and 12 in the rear on 22" rims. 295/30/22 front and 335/25/22 rear.

I got recommended this set up:
20x10 et38 all around or 20x10 with et38 front and et20 rear For tires, I was told 275 front and 315 rear on 20x10 wheels. Does this sound okay? Or would this not work? Last edited by Rocketsoda; 04-09-2015 at 06:46 PM.. |
