X5-35i Dinan stage 3 software
Considering upgrading the software with the Dinan package on my 2013 x5. If anybody has any experience or input on the pros and cons of the Dinan software, I would greatly appreciate feedback.

Have it on my 35i for approx. 8+ months. Works as advertised and happy with the noticeable up in torque/power. Just today got it to the RPM red line and was pulling hard. The radiator fan comes on more often than w/o the tune, but that is to be expected depending on your driving habits.

I'm running the Stage 2. Had it for about 8,000 miles after 3,000+ miles without it. There is a noticeable and substantial difference between stock and tuned. Is it worth $2k? I guess it depends on how much you need the $2k. I love the tune, the power, and the warranty. Is it the best bang for the buck? I am not qualified to answer, as I am not familiar with other options. Personally, I did not want to mess with the warranty on my new $70k car. Is it a great upgrade that improves the performance of your ride, especially in S mode? Absolutely. Would I do it again? Absolutely.
Hope that helps. |

BMW-AP2 I'm not sure they support your new ECU model though. Reach out to Josh @ Cobb to find out. |
