2012s Now in Production

My X6 arrived at the dealer, Friday, April 8!!! Delivery tomorrow! Can't wait!!!! YES!!!!!

I can only guess that perhaps BMW is shipping the 5.0 models before the 3.5 models (which is what I ordered). My CA and BMW USA customer service cannot give me a definite reason why there's a delay in shipment of my car. The MyBMW site still only lists the Production Number not the VIN.

My X has been shipped!!!!! Woooow that was super fast. The BMW center can no longer give me an update as to wear it is. But it was finished on Wednesday. Looks like I'll be picking her up this week!

Ordered my 2012 35i on 3/5.
On Weds 4/6, 1-800 stated "no scheduled production date" and BMWUSA online still showed "on order."
On Thursday 4/7, it went straight to production via phone and website simultaneously, with anticipated completion on 4/17.

Too bad it takes 6 weeks to ship to Hawaii. I'm dying already!

Could you guys post yours production numbers, especially those that are already waiting for their cars to be delivered or those with cars that are it production at this moment??? I think the rest of of us ,including me; that are waiting for their cars to enter the production could better estimate their production date. Thank you.

If you could list your production #, your start date and end of production date.

I ordered mine 3/15. Ten days later after you did. Does that mean that mine will enter the production on 4/17???

On BMW's website it shows that my X6 3.5 went into the production today!!!!!

When I call 800# i tells me that my car is in production and that estimated finish date is 4/18. The only thing that shows wrong on the site is the color of the exterior and interior. It also shows the cold weather package which I didn't ordered. I'm so excited now

Mine still says on order on the webiste....lol. Mewnwhile it will be here tuesday. BMW is way behind in terms of updating the web.

I spoke to my CA today and told him that my car went into the production. He told me that they holding bimmers at the port in NY right now. He said that the first week production 2012 X5/X6 that are coming to NY are being kept here at the port and are not being release to the dealers as of now. He told me that by the time my car gets here (3weeks) hopefully I wont have this problem

Did he say why?or what proof of this he had?
I haven't heard of this before and ilikecarz' car is at the dealer or he has already picked it up

Hey gang.....drove my 2012 X6 50i home this evening.....and what a dream! the rumble from the 4.4liter/400 HP is unbeleivable! It's a rocket. I got Black Sapphire /Oyster/ DK bamboo w/ 3 passenger rear seat....quite loaded. MSRP $82,974. I think I might sleep in the X6 tonight!

No LED front head lights.....same as 2011.

So jealous ! Any cosmetic changes done to the exterior ? I got the same exact combo as you except for mine being the 35. Looks like I'm place an order for the HID angel eyes now. Please post pics !! Thanks !

Congratulations! Enjoy you ride and post photos as soon as possible. Can you please comment on the steering wheel material, whether it is the same. Am literally logging in from time to time just to see the photos

That's not true. Mine will be ready to pick on tuesday. So I don't know why your CA would say that.
