Installing F/R turns and License Plate tomorrow.... Anxious!

Update: 40 minutes later and all is great! The front turns are wicked bright! License plate bulbs are bright as expected. Not sure how much difference is see in the rear turns.

No codes!

Great!

FYI the best way to see the difference is install only one bulb, then you can do a side by side comparison to really see the change.

I have one set of front turn signals left if anyone is interested!

Finished the interior swap this morning and the turn signals were done yesterday. I am very pleased with the brightness and how it looks. The installation instructions were very good, I took my time and with the pictures of the light holders actually out is was easy to see how the removal tool should be used. I was very surprised at how easy the front turn signals were to change once I figured out that you turn 1/8 of a turn and then pull. I have no errors. Thank you for arranging this purchase.

I've got one pair of front turn signals left, but that's all I'm afraid.

In case you're interested in the license plate bulbs, I have a pair that are new in the packaging. I bought them with the interior lights but didn't need them.

Any chance an update to the front fogs is underway?

Would love a set but not interested in coding.

I have the exact same bulbs as shown in the picture, I am assuming that the replacement bulbs that I received will not work because I already have the OEM LED setup correct? Or am I missing something here, lol. Thank you.

I ended up getting a pair of H11 GP Thunder 7500k bulbs for the fogs.

Not quite as white as LEDs, but they're almost a dead on match of the headlight color, and no coding to fiddle with.

Right. If you already have oem LEDs there is no way to install the aftermarket versions.

I'll will second this. I did quite a bit of research and there is no easy way to do the LED fogs without errors - my coding guy doesn't think he could code out the errors either. Went with the GP bulbs Jzbm3 posted above and they look great.

Also installed the front turns with the GB and love them. Look great!

I was actually referring to the license plate lights.

None of the X5 or X6 models came with factory interior LEDs.

Is there a DIY on how to change the fog light bulbs? Really interested in getting these myself.

On the M Sport it's pretty easy, just pop off the grill and twist out the bulb.

On the regular X5 I'd check out the manual to find the best process for replacing the fog light bulbs.

For X6,
Interior LED set from this GB will give you 1 extra 5SMD bulb if install on E71.
Front/rear turn signals are same as x5/x5m
License plate led will fit as long as your x6 don't come with stock led license plate light.

The only thing I know from x5 won't fit x6 for sure is reverse light, X6 use H21W instead of T10 on E70.

Apparently it's the same for regular X5's.
