Wrong. Take a look again. The posted pictures include some with CA plates on that same truck.

I can't understand why BMW maintains 35d instead of 40d

As long as you spring for the M Sport Package, its all painted. Bumpers, wheel arches, door guards etc. If you don't get the M Sport, part of it is painted - see the bmwusa.com site preview for the 2011.

It shows as model 336 when I build a car in Sweden on www.bmw.se

I think that's right. The wheel chart is from the CDN ordering guide. In Canada the 336 (on the Geneva car) will be standard on the X6 50i and N/A on the X5. I think it differs from the 335 wheel in the chart in that the spokes on the 335 aren't split. I also looks to me as though the sides of the 336 spokes are painted but maybe its just the pic?

Not for sale. Not planned.
40d is a engine that works without AdBlue, so it would have to be re-developed for US.
First I want to see a Diesel 1 and 5.....

Still strange though that BMW then has its factory producing STILL the older 35d alongside the 40d. Very unclear why they dont just drop that engine!

i guess like u said it must be the cost.
