After T1 the rest of the field is already out of sight ... Checo stated in the last 2 races : My mission is to support the Red Bull Strategy . But we don't see him...Not even close ! Red Bull and MAX need a miracle , because HAM's Rocket PU pulls everyone out of reach. MAX had bad luck in Azerbeidzjan , Silverstone and the Hungaroring . Otherwise had MAX now 12 victories and the lead of 75 points in the WDC . And HAM's season was already 'over in Mexico. So...It is what it is . And we'll see .

It appears so but how well do we really know these drivers? Netflix, interviews and information gleaned from watching GPs doesn't tell the whole story.

1st and 2nd picture with the simple search string: And to clarify his damage: He pretty much lost half his front floor (the complete barge board area is gone, and there is some damage at the rear part too), that's probably about 6-7ft² of carbon missing... That will have a huge impact on how the car behaves. It was probably also pulling to one side like crazy. ....apparently the members that liked your post are just as hopeless with a google search.....

Possibly, but you had this legendary champ!
I've included some rare pics from Mario's stand-in at the Scuderia back in '82. That was (at 42 years old) probably the best cameo in F1 history.

Not that I think HAM even needs the help. I predict a sweet victory for the Mercs and HAM on Sunday.

Below is the quote he was responding to, not Hungry... Where is the proof of this below statement? Beside that's a picture of a barge board not a diffuser. "40% of MAX's diffuser was gone ...the turbulence took the cars stability completely away . HAM's "Flexible Mercedes front wing was just too strong ! Brave drivers may try to overtake at T12 if they're close enough. The hotel section would be more or less similar to before, even though it flow faster. Overall, the modifications looks promising.

Sorry, I thought it was a reference to using BOT to take out VER in reaction on PER taking out HAM in Abu dhabi.
That's why I couldn't believe someone had missed the damage. The pointing back and forth goes so fast in these topics that you sometimes loose track, just as the driver de However in Jeddah there seems to be more carbon debris at the crash than that was missing from HAM's front wing, so that must have come from Max' car. HAM looses about half of his front wing end plate. (the other half keeps flapping about and he looses that a few laps later) Maybe this is where he was referring to? Debris on track: damage on HAM's front wing: Despite the crash that is quite minimal damage. That wing must be really tough. I wouldn't be surprised if MERC developed their own tough version of carbon. Maybe with something like an aramid fibre woven into it to make it less prone to completely crack/break.

Some of the debris was also from the underside of the wing as two of the under wing strakes were broken off. Hard to say what happened to Max's car with out some rear end photos. I can't find anything stating 40% damage, at this point its a guess without some proof.

Maybe a potential gamechanger:
Abu Dabi apparently has the same sharp kerbs as Qatar: https://www.gpblog.com/en/news/10086...-are-back.html So Pirelli declared after the race in Qatar that the many tyre blowouts were caused by the sharp kerbs on the losail circuit. So the urge for fast laptimes might be part of a gamble: do I take the kerb or not? Might give an interesting spin on the championchip

Care to make a prediction what will be said?
On the other hand, no matter who wins, it'll be over, so after sunday it's only looking foreward to the next year with all the seat changes and rule changes. I think in the end the viewer in general wins. Never has a championship been this close and certainly almost the last decade it was clear from the beginning who would win, and it was more a matter if his teammate would be 2nd or 3rd. So F1 was reduced to a completely dull parade of cars. Luckily that finally seems to be over now. Let's hope that next year more teams can chip in with the championship. I always like teams and drivers that progress over a year. So apart from Max/RBR, Alpine seems to make a lot of progression lately, and of course Alphatauri has at least their qualifying sorted out as top10 is no problem (and look at their history....that used to be Minardi! the bottomfeeders of F1 ), and of course NOR has had some great moments. I hope that next year someone like RUS can really shine now he's getting probably the best car of the field. And I hope that Haas is finally going to do something. Waiting a whole year with investments and development has no place in F1. You might as well not compete. F1 is about the best of the best.

I expected you to cover both sides as you self identify as an impartial observer. What will the Ham fans say if Max wins?
