Yes . I've watched the video , and it looks like RIC's left wrist was hit by the blow through his steering wheel .

Yeah the kickback from the steer wheel was like a pro karate blow, he wasn't thinking quick enough to retract his hands in time.

Update : RIC has a "Metacarpal Fracture"

This weekend a surgeon will decide whether surgery is necessary or not .
The recovery time is at least 6 weeks...

an actual broken wrist = most of the rest of the season (unless you're Lance, I doubt he actually broke anything)

edit: so metacarpal fracture - that's a broken hand not wrist, might be sooner than a broken wrist but time will tell.

I think he'll be ok so long as he doesn't emulate that last F2 start.

The irony of RIC is that if he did hit PIA in the rear wheel he would be starting today with both cars rebuilt.

It's wet on the track now and not looking good for quail, so a baptism of fire is on the cards for young Lawson.

Zandvoort is anything but predictable in the rain it seems.

It might be an interesting qualifying this afternoon.
From what I can see on the forecast, it'll be dry, but tomorrow, chance on rain is 75% during the race.
And before qualifying, the setup must be sealed (except front wing angle).
So will teams choose for a rain setup or a dry setup?

At Spa that was also a similar deciding factor.
