35d Intercooler Problems in the NW?
I've got a 2010 35d and been in the shop 4 times for my intercooler charge air temp sensor busting and the intercooler "sludging" up. The dealer told me they see this a lot in the NW (WA/OR) - anyone else own a 35d in the northwest that can go more than 3 months without a check engine light? They told me "the factory is working on this problem" (heard that a year ago - 2.5 months after rolling off the lot when it first happened) but I'm not convinced everyone is in this boat or I'd be able to find a lot more posting about it.
I'm thinking it might be time for a replacement or buy back. Other than that - my favorite car ever...to bad I can't keep it out of the shop for more than 3 months. |

That's good to hear - maybe I can get a replacement that will work then...encouraging. I wouldn't have thought making a turbo diesel work for more than 3 months at a time would have been too difficult for a German car company - had a turbo diesel jetta run with 0 problems for 7 years straight and this isn't new technology (pretty much).
