took my car in for my rear led tail light and
i was hoping that it could just be an in and out bulb change kinda deal but i was told that the L.E.D light housing has gone bad and needed to be replaced. ive been driving since last Wednesday, and i haven't been pulled over yet. my regular brake lamps and 2 stage lights work ( i guess ) but the 3 bars are out on one side and its very very noticeable at night with the left side illuminated.
the part is being overnighted. all i have to do is wait for a phone call and avoid the police. |

MAKE SURE THEY REPLACE BOTH! It is a Service Bulletin. Had the same problem and they only replaced one - and it was the old part number. Had to reorder a full pair with the new number and wait another week to get it taken care of.
Let us know how it goes. |

when i got to the dealer they said that there was a recall on them and that a " repair kit" was used. he said something about changing wires but not the assembly or the lens casing. he did mention that both sides were taken cared of.
