This also made me realize that the ISTA+ has all the repair manuals included. I previously purchased a pre-configured harddrive with the ISAT+/INPA to code a larger battery capacity/register and to code a new EMF module, but forgot about the manuals! |

anyone still around that has diy'd the upper oil pan gasket? I am working on preparing a parts list. I wish ISTA would provide part numbers to make this easier, but getting by referencing realoem. Ista diagrams shows 27 bolts for the upper oil pan, but realoem only shows 26. Should bolts be reused with loctite, or better to just replace with new? Also, ISTA says to remove the oil pump, but from the little info I can find online, it seems that is not necessary? I know some of this will make more sense when doing the work, but trying to be prepared before hand.

Aren’t the service instructions in ISTA the same as would be found in TIS? I have gone through the instructions from ista in detail.
