Installed 2" H&R springs
Dropped to lowest rear air setting ... nice look but bad ride. View post on imgur.com With the rear raised ... View post on imgur.com With the rest of the family |

Decided to experiment with the set of OEM front/rear M stripes available since they only cost 20 bucks.
I didn't really like the look too much with the whole stripe up front ... looks like just to much going on ended up just keeping the lower stripe that sits under the plate. I didn't even take pics of the rear since it looked dumb as hell. |

Not my X5 but thought I would share my M3 build.
Acquired a hard top and drove it on the longest trip since building it ... around 6 hours total. As always still more work to be done ... next step is fender flares, spacers and eventually a turbo build at a target of 4-450 WHP. |

Installed about 2 weeks ago ... let the fun times roll
Experimenting with different intake setup - Bit more aggressive under the hood and adds some nice spool sounds, hood clearance is not an issue. For those wondering IAT's are running very close to the stock intake setup. |

Snapped a pic today after long drive in the snow getting dirty, those are 275/45 tires on a 2’ drop lol front wheels have about 1” gap between fender and tire no rubbing issues.

More or less requires turbos from TU or modifying existing turbos.
I’m using TU turbos |

Out here in CA I'm lucky to get 14 highway on this shit 91 pump gas they sell and only averaging about 11 city. Drop in MPG is expected with e30 and I might just reserve it for track use only since it is not so cost effective, I can feel the power increase so I'll know more once I do the modifications I'm planning in the next few months and get on a dyno with before/afters. |

Flex fuel requires a third more volume to produce the same amount of energy as petrol.
I get just under 16L/100kms on 98RON, and heads north of 20L/100kms on E30/40 mix. |

Wastegate failure.... turbos eventually stopped boosting at about 116k or randomly whenever they felt not working sometimes mostly no boost.

Put some new intakes in with some better fitting filters - this all fits nicely under the hood.
Only thing left to do now is recirculate the BOV’s and install my radium catch cans I’m very confident in this now and have had the CEL off for quite some time and have 2k miles on the setup now Anyone looking to do this TU setup should reach out since I have this all figured out now. This is completely stock tuning with atmospheric blowoff. My logs indicate I reach max boost quickly and sustain it very well with the BOV’s providing very good response. Pretty sure I’m the first and only dude that has this engine configured this way unless someone knows of another on stock tuning like this without a CEL. This is only the beginning as well .... I want to see this engine make some big numbers

Probably get some hate about this but needed a gauge to verify my boost without apps since they all reported vastly different numbers from 3psi to 24psi which is impossible. Gauge reports correctly and verified I’m making the correct amount of boost and it holds strong... For those interested I tapped into the inter cooler map on the passenger side using the p3 boost tap for the n20/n55 engine, the block works but i needed different screws than what it came with |

Finally decided to install exhaust got little while ago, just as expected it fit right up and only gave a little trouble - just needed to cut exhaust correctly and mount it where I want for fitment
Adds X pipe and mufflers - there is no valve - much better sound over stock - will get some time on it and grab some clips and better pics Much happier than I was with the fabspeed straight pipes - I think car finally sounds good in combo with the TU turbos and manifold a lot more refined and clean, the OEM setup I feel doesn’t sound good too bogged down and not refined. Will be much better once I get high flow downpipes and remove stocks |
