I don't know if that's the camo, but I like the C-pillar design of the current X5, rather than this more conventional one in this prot. In my opinion that's a bmw trademark. Seems like they are changing the C-pillar design on most of their new cars.

Yuck, F15 looks better and I don't even like the F15....
Seriously BMW, if that grill makes it to production, I'm looking elsewhere to replace my E70.

First observations
OEM 22" wheels will bring more tire options to those of us who already have 22" wheels = WIN!!! Not particularly fond of the Porsche Cayenne rear end... |

e70 does look very nice still and ages nicely! Just out of curiosity - I think changing cluster panel to LED and installing a larger multi-view display is all it takes to upgrade tech/interior, and engine can be simply swapped for n63tu with ZF8 tranny

So far the only thing I like better aesthetically is that the rear end doesn't look droopy like the F15. Seems the X5 has been doing some squats ahead of it's next reveal.

US bound G05 X5 diesel anytime soon?
Anyone care to share opinion whether or not we will see 2019 or 2020 X5 xDrive 40d in the US/Canada?

Damn...my current X5 lease ends in July, looks like I will have to extend 1-2 months. But highly considering getting an F15 X5M if dealerships are giving good deals on them this year as model ends

The G05 X5 has dropped nearly all camouflage as it moves closer to its introduction. As we've shared before, the G05 X5 will begin production in August 2018 after the current F15 X5 ends production in July. The current 35i and 35d models will become the 40i and 40d, resulting in the following X5 models: - sDrive40i - xDrive40i - xDrive40d - xDrive40e - xDrive50i
