Catalytic converter question X6M

Hey guys
Long story short.....
I'm located in Costa Rica, ALL gasoline sold here comes from a government agency ( better called a monopoly) a couple of weeks ago they gave us the "good news" that they found a harmful aditive called MMT on the gasoline they have been buying since early 2012, it seems to be pretty bad on catalytic converters, many cars are starting to get the check engine light on, many others need to have the catalytic converters replaced.........so my question goes, if there is a good aftermarket (cheaper than OEM) for my X6M just in case I will need a replacement soon ? (hope not)
Any feedback will be appreciated

You can try a race catted downpipe. A couple forum members have them and can chime in

Probably the main problem will be the shipping costs from your place to Costa Rica (kind of far), please PM with a quote including shipping to San Jose, Costa Rica

I am running ultimate racing DP with 200 cell race cat and love the sound/ performance gains. I believe AR design now has a race cat DP as well.
