Euro versions don't use TMPS, they use ABS sensors.

Your car already has ABS sensors as it came equipped with ABS (anti-lock brakes) from the factory. They are part of suspension, not on the wheels, so you don't have to buy them.

When you have ABS, you have sensors on each wheels that calculates the rotation so when braking, the system will know if a wheel turns slower than the others, so brake pressure will be released to prevent an incident.

Those sensors aren't used when the brakes are not depressed, so BMW used them to calculate the rotation while driving.
If a wheels turns more than another, the tire's marked as running low on air, thus the TPMS light's turned on...

We use the same here in Canada.

Have you done some research to be sure you don't use TPMS in Chile ?

Usually, one thing that points you in the right direction:

Look to see if your wheel valves are rubber or metal.
Metal: Usually TPMS sensors (and I'm not talking about a chrome jacket, here).
Rubber: No TPMS sensors.
