Check out our X6M PP-Performance

Dansarkis with those modification you should go easy in the 11s! Depends how good the ECU tune is.

Great pass tommy!

Dan you will definitely see 11s with those mods. That thing is gonna be hauling! I want to get some downpipes so badly but I'm worried I'll void my warrantee. Hoping to see an 11.9 with a tune alone to start.

Keep them coming guys... I know there are more guys out there racing these monsters!

Im from PP-Performance and our X5M/X6M are MONSTERS

I live in Abu Dhabi, UAE and the weather hear is insane hot! and humidity in the summer is so high... its like taking a shower 24h a day.. :-) This time we got it in UAE in Europe our X5M/X6M reach 11.5 sec.

May i know from which company you will buy your modifications? With our Stage 2 ECU Upgrade and Downpipes you will reach the 11.x sec on the 1/4Mile.

Truck is in the shop currently... having misfire issues.

Starting with a tune and then probably an exhaust. Hopefully I can maintain my waranty with those mods. Downpipes are a great power mod but with that much power I would start to worry about breaking an axle. Also it seems like mine is gonna be in and out of the shop alot. Ive had it for about 2 months now and its been into the shop twice already for various reasons.

Just got mine back this weekend from the champs at Velos. Tune, Akra Downpipes and exhaust among other things. Its a true beast! I hope to post some track times tomorrow night!

Yep I always drive my truck hard, dont know any other way

. Got it back and they couldnt figure out the problem and its running like a champ right now. I just let it sit for a minute or 2 after I romp on it so it cools off a bit... seems to help.

Programmer just arrived should have the tune next week hopefully and hitting the track either wednesday or friday. Low 12s to start would be nice to see in the current weather.

I dont have quarter mile times yet but I can list a bunch of cars ive ran into on the street lol. Im going to the track this thursday so ill post up time slips.....

I guess with down pipes and a solid tune one can run high 11's.

Thanks man, took me alot of practice. I must have close to 25 passes in the 1/8th and about 15 in the 1/4 so far since july in the truck. Well over 100 passes in both in my E55. That thing took me years to master on street tires. Dont know anyone else in the 11s with as few mods as I had on that thing and street tires.

I would say you had a strong pass too. I forgot who did your tune but did they also raise the limiter on your rev when using launch control? You could see huge improvments in your 60ft when using launch control. Make sure to lose your spare and run low fuel if you go for a personal best. Oh and cut the passenger weight lol. Keep at it man!

Finally got my tune all squared away. They hooked me up with a 93 and 100 octane tune and a programmer to switch between them. Planning on going back to the track tomorrow if the weather holds up. Hoping to see some low 12s in the 1/4 and some high 7s in the 1/8.

Finally got my tunes.

Eurocharged hooked me up with 2. One for 93 and other "race tune" for 100 octane for when Im at the track.

Tossed the 93 tune in today and got back to the track. Put down a best time of 12.358@112.06

Going to try the race tune friday or next week.

Hey guys and gals,

I just picked up my slightly used 2011 X5M (11,000) a few weeks ago and some friends and I went to the drag strip last night to see what it could do.

I pulled 12.43sec@110 MPH!!

The only mod it has is a Dinan exhaust system. I was very happy with the results!

damn thats pretty solid for just the exhaust. i have the dinan tune+exhaust but havent gotten a chance to hit the strip. curious if anyone else with this setup has gotten some numbers

Yep Jerry is still there. I might get them to squeeze a bit more out of the 93 tune or get it dyno tuned.

I bought the beast with the Dinan exhaust already installed, so I don't know the difference of weight between the stock and the Dinan exhaust. I don't have a spare tire and I had a little over half a tank of gas when I ran those 1/4 mile numbers. The beast is fully optioned, so there are no weight savings.
