You can not put running boards on a "M" version. I looked into the option and the dealer said, due to the slight differences in the body style, they would not fit. If you go to the build your own site, you will see it is not an available option. If you look closely, you will notice, the entire bottom portion on the 35 and 50 is black, and the "M" is all painted. I wouldn't want to change the lines anyway. With that said, if you can cover it with a clear bra, I've done it.

Nope sapphire black, I wanted a black car since I always get white ones. Even though I like the carbon black, it just wasn't dark enough. Seeng the sapphire black on an x5m and a 750 at my dealer, made my mind up.

I like that blue X6 Mac. Looking good. Are you gonna powder coat those rims?
I agree the running boards would be a nice touch. Great choices guys.
Thinking of investing in a 3 series. Any thoughts? So many different models

Lol I really wanted a black car this time, it was either jet black which is a tough color to maintain or sapphire, after seeing sapphire a couple times it was a no brainer.

No Powder coat. Rims look fresh with the Chrome Finish. Hofmeister kink shining through (Smile). What, r u going to ditch the infiniti for the M3? That is my favorite looking car. Look is tough... I wish it was out before I got my Vert... the style would have enough to make me jump past the 335 (smile).
