2013 X6 Full LED Light

LCI X5 comes with LED angel eyes but LCI X6 does not.
However, there is an option for LCI X6, Full LED Lights - LED low & high beam, LED angel eye. We know that even though it is FULL LED LIGHTS option, turn signals are not LEDs

- Full LED Lights with new 6 series is FULL LEDs, LED low & high beam, LED angel eyes, LED cornering lights, LED turn signal Lights.

Anyway, it looks like LCI X6 Full LED Lights come with SilverVision Turn Signal Bulbs. I will review when I get mine.

Can you please elaborate what does silvervision turning lights mean? Are turning signals in the back LED? Thanks

Silvervision is a product from Philips, which was then adopted by BMW. The bulb has a silvery coating outside, but when it lights up, it will emit orange light. It was very noticable in the past, if you have the clear tail lights, the orange bulb will make the clear area looks orange, looks like a pimple in the face.

I'm about to order a new X6 4.0d and very disappointed even though its the new LCI model it will not have LED angel eyes why have BMW done this??? The car retails at £55k, however the 1 series and 3 series have LED lights

For those of you, who have paid for full LED lights is it worth it?

We have a 2011 X6 (wife's) with the Xeon and then a 2013 with the Full LED package.

I'll have to be honest I almost prefer the Xeons at night. The LED are very bright, but also laser focused. By this I mean the edge of the beams are almost a solid transition from bright LED to night. The Xeons tend to light a larger area, allowing better forward visibility (likely focused on same area of road ahead, but the Xeon transition spills over into the non-targeted area more).

With this, more oncoming drivers tend to flash their brights at the Xeons, but you also see more road.

The LED's certainly have a level of appeal given the uniqueness though - very classy lighting package.

I didn't realize the stunning of the LED headlamp until last time I drove my friend's 750i and he drove my X6 following me. The LED lights are reflecting from the projector with a really nice looking during the night time.
Honestly, the range of LED lights are more concentrated, so the range is a little narrow comparing with the Xeons. However, I feels comfortable with the range of LED with the active headlamps.

Is it possible to do side by side comparison with a few angles

If you were to convert to the new 2013 LED lights it would be very expensive.

I'm not sure it would be that expensive. I can get the complete headlight pair for $800. With computers and all that jazz. Not sure what would be required via coding.
