A good friend of mine ( Forum member M33)recommended the ESS tune for my M and to say the least I'm very very very pleased ! The product support from Roman and AJ was by far the best I have experienced thus far

Can this flash be done on everything stock?
What are the gains then?

P.S. Any info on boost numbers, do you have delta between ESS and stock numbers?

We have been using the ESS flash with our downpipes, results are PHENOMENAL! AJ and Roman at ESS are *the* best

What caused the trace backs "loops" in the dynochart? Typically the cause is a result of clutch or wheel slip, however that would be strange on this car.
Regardless, if you filter out the "loops" you still get around 510whp which is pretty solid. I'd love to see the results with the air/fuel ratio once you add the downpipes & reflash the software.

It takes almost 1 hour to write the existing file to the DF and 20 minutes to flash it back to the car

We have a 2012 X5M with K&N filters, RPI exhaust and ESS tune. The car runs so much better with the tune. We had it done after the exhaust and filters were installed. The guys at ESS certainly know what they're doing. Highly recommended if your looking for a conservative power increase. There are other tunes that will produce a little more power but I didn't want to take that risk.
