Stock 2011 X5 (E70) 50i, 69,000 miles, ideas?
Hello,
I am new to the forums and how this works but I do own a stock BMW X5 50i 2011 right at about 69,000 miles. It is white and she is my baby. Does anybody in the same ballpark of miles have any tips to keep her alive and or any advice about how to take care of her. I am also looking for any good tune or body add ons that the community had for me. Thank you and keep loving those BIMMERS, Collin |

At around 100k miles, the plastic CCV lines, Plastic connections In th turbo coolant lines, and plastic in the head to head coolant tube will fail (see a pattern here?) Plan on replacing all of those sometime before 100k. ESS tunning makes the best tune for our trucks (jb4 is an option too, ESS + jb4 will net 550+hp) and check out the aero body kit, can order it from BMW or find knock offs on ebay, side skirts are hard to find though, had to import mine from Germany) BTW, I have 2012 with 172k miles with the ESS tune & jb4. Keep up on the maintenance and you will get easily another 100k+ miles on it |
