Clear DPF fault code?
My Carly showed high reading of exhaust back pressure a couple a months ago, so I swapped my back pressure sensor with a new aftermarket one - since my DPF check showed low amount ash and soot, and that led me to think the sensor itself was the problem.
A while later, a error code for the back pressure sensor and the DPF popped up under diagnotics, so I guessed the X5 didn’t like the aftermarket sensor, and reinstalled the old OEM sensor again. I was also told that the back pressure reading in Carly could be faulty, so I did a new reading with Ista, and that came back with normal readings. But I am still getting the DPF fault code, guess the aftermarket sensor screwed up something and the DPF error is stored in the DDE. No check engine or DPF error light in the display, the coolant temp is good, but I’m not able to force regens. Is it possible to solve this somehow, or do I have to register a new DPF in Ista to get by? |
