Tailpipes 50i
Please post part number of x6 50i tailpipes and is it possible to put it on X6 35i or 30d or 35d?
I ask this because these days my bmw dealer inform all X5 owners that thay can replace their pipes to oval from X5 4.8i. |

Don't know if you can get the 50i tailpipes for the 35i but one thing I have noticed that that the back bumper on the 35i is cut out for the round exhausts, not the 50i rectangular ones.
I guess you would have to either replace the bumper or have it somehow cut out. I may of course be completely wrong! |

Should have just bought the 50i if you wanted the 50i exhaust.
Just kidding. |

I have done the research. It seem like u need to chage the whole exhaust muffler box n cut the rear bumper. Chk the link.

I had posted this before, someone else had asked the same question a while back.
Check out my previous posts in regards to what the differences are between the 30d, 35d, 35i and 50i exhaust system and what would be involved in changing it to the 50i style: http://www.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=160864 IMHO, it's not worth the money you would have to spend to get the 'looks' of the 50i! Besides, I doubt you would get the same exhaust note by simply adding the rectangular 50i style exhaust tips...

I think it's not possible at least you change the whole rear bumper, is not worth it IMO, is better to invest of a Tunit chip for $1000 you get more horsepower and more torque, not only looks

Hey Deda,
Maybe this is something for you: Supersprint Exhaust Pic is a bit small but the Oval Exhaust is 150x105cm!! and does fit in existing rearbumper. Check www.supersprint.com/homeuk.htm |

Supersprint will give u pretty good sound. I have the 35i as well, I'm not sure making it look like something it's not for no performance or sound gain is worthwhile.

Deda, I dont think it is worth investing such money. It is not just about tail pipes, but whole rear silencer plus rear bumper. Supersprint is not solution also.
I would just leave it. |
