I think this is going sideways. I agree, $600 for a single tire is outrageous.
The Vredestein and Continentals are comparably priced. I sourced and paid €1120 for the SportContacts6s shipped to the US.
For me, I'd rather pay a small premium, over Lexani or Lionhart, for what I perceive as a quality tire.
