I just went through this with the dealer. The Performance grills
have not been updated with the larger surround so your choice is the OEM performance grills or order custom painted LCI grills from someone like IND. I've seen some of IND's work and it is perfect; a set of their Carbon Black grills with goss black slats looked great!
I was lazy and simply installed the narrow framed pre-LCI gloss black Performance grills on my X5M
