I bought some cheap $2 cable in vancouver BC at a tea shop for an ipod, it would take more than 24hours to charge full. Moving to an Amazon "basics," cable fixed that.
Moving to a 2.1A charger makes a HUGE difference. Few cars have this feature, most are 500mA, barely 1A in any car. They are crap. You have to augment with an aftermarket plug-in 2A charger.
