FYI - not all charging cables are equal, car chargers are notorious for this.
From what I understand, some are charging only cables = fast
Some are charging AND data cables = slow, due to needing some of the bandwidth for data.
Are you using the same charger in both cars, or are they different? If different I would ditch the slow one and buy another of the other type.
Do some research, there is lots about this on Google.
