power loss over 120 mph please help!!!

Guys, when I hit 120mph the car goes into limp mode. Engine set to safe mode and an error is thrown. something about engine malfunction (half engine light on dash) shows up and power cuts. I pull over, turn off and power back up and its cleared up then reemerges when I push to that speed again. Anyone familiar with this? please help, thanks
Also I need advice on who makes a good cold air intake kit for the X6M
