Funny, I am having mine installed Tuesday...I plan to put the display on the top of the rear view mirror...I had it setup that way in my M5. I found this worked well for line of site while driving. Make sure the radar sensor is as high up as possible, not in the grille, you will get a lot more detection distance...I plan on putting mine upe in front of the passenger visor. Haven't decided on the button yet...good luck!
