I wasn't sure if could get it out, it's already striped. So I just ordered a new one (bmw) and was surprised it was different (without drain). Looks like to me if u get a 2010 pre turbo 5, 6,7, x5 v8,. u get the drain plug, I know both my x5 4.8 and my 745i 4.4 had drain plugs, I even have a spare drain plug I found last night from years ago
