Repair costs on the X5M (not to be confused with an M Sport) will be considerably higher not just because it's an M model but the S63 engine will have more items to be replaced than the diesel engine. Fuel mileage in the X5M is probably about half or a little better than what the diesel will return, if that matters to you.
Have you driven either of these? If not you should start there, and then search this forum for more info - lots of info here on these 2 vehicles  |
Yes I've drove them last weekend and I'm going to go with a 535i. My wife already has a truck so no need for me to have one as well. Deep down I wanted the 5 series anyway.
