Yeah - of course in M mode. I think the thing with the X5M, is that while it does have tremendous performance, it's not really "in your face" and visceral like other M cars have been in the past. (The same can be said about the new M5, M6, etc)
Due to the nature of the turbo engine, and the fact it's a big SUV - I think a lot of that performance gets masked under this veil, and while it is going very fast - you don't get as much driver feedback about the intensity of it all.
