I haven't used the 3rd row for about 2 years now BUT it is a really nice to be able to move the 2nd row. Typically, it's pushed all the way back but, if I need the space for a "road trip", I move it forward. The funny thing is that my two teenagers don't even seem to notice that it has been moved forward (and my son is close to 6' now...).

Thanks Brian. Yeah I'd have liked out of the way space for a spare wheel or mobility kit but the movable 2nd row would definitely come in handy so its a good trade off. If both fit an amp I don't mind which spec I end up buying, just glad I'm not limited to only models without the 3rd row.
