I don't think the driveshaft replacement resulted in TC failure; likely that your TC was already failing. Seems like a not-so-uncommon issue:

Can you describe in detail what you mean by "vibration/shake" at low speed turns? I have a 2012 X5 and would be curious to know.. I don't have any vibration, but when i make turns sometimes feels like i'm going over a couple of small bumps. Wondering if its the same!
