In the SF Bay Area, I've seen probably no more than 10 or so in the year or so since I've owned mine.
Oddly enough though, I am visiting Taipei at the moment and saw one parked on the street, which is one more than I'd ever expect to find here. A very tightly packed urban environment with narrow streets and alleys and insane traffic is probably the last place I'd want to have a car like this. But I also saw a Lamborghini cruising around yesterday, so what do I know?
Count update: Now have seen 4. A local friend described them as "rolling houses," referring to the cost, as one of these here can cost more than a house (!) once import duties get added in. Makes me glad to be in the US with our "cheap" cars lol.
