did u do any modifications to the multimedia unit recently?
the reason I'm asking as I had similar issue when I replaced my CIC screen and had to unplug cables behind the multimedia unit,
apparently I didn't plugin something completely in so after I put everything together my steering wheel stopped adjusting.
After I revisited and checked the connections (unplug, plug back in) the issue went away.
