I would say the facts are wrong out there. It is quite common to have the wrong info in the automotive press.
Common sense suggests even with Batman and Robbin tuning kit, no way the truck would get 18 mixed, let alone 22.

Well, all I can say is I just drove my xDrive50i home from Spartanburg and got an indicated 20.8 mpg on the highway! I haven't done much city driving yet, so I will keep you posted. BTW, my dealer's service rep says the computer is "pretty accurate" even though BMWs overestimate speed up to 100 mph, then underestimate 100+ (so that 100 mph is dead on).
