Handling is not a quantifiable measurement, it refers to the subjective feel of a car. The Cayenne Turbo may be quicker than the E46 M3, even around corners, but it will never out handle it.
I have driven the 911 (996 Carrera and 997 Carrera S) E46 M3 (I'm in the market for one) and the Cayenne (Turbo and GTS) before you ask.
