I spoke to my SA this afternoon about this recall. She was aware of it but didn't have very much information. She plugged in the last 7 of my VIN and confirmed my vehicle was flagged in BMW's system as part of the recall, which she said gives me the green light to schedule an appt. to have it looked it. She said to request a service loaner vehicle for 2 days to allow a full inspection (and yes longer if everything on the list needed to be done).

I'm gonna wait a little while and see how this plays out. I'd rather have my X5 go in after the techs have seen/fixed a few of these.
