So glad I did some google searching today. I've had my 2011 X5 5.0 in for this issue last winter and they replaced the battery. Vehicle came out of warranty on 11/29/14. Right before then we get the increased battery discharge message". Now out of warranty I was looking into extended maintenance/warranty. Before I sign-off I will be dropping off the vehicle for this recall. Will provide updates as they become available.
