If you analyze the shape of most car doors, you'll notice that they are hardly ever straight. Most have some sort of kink or bend in them that will cause them to hit your door even if you have the running board on your X6.
It's an interesting thought, however I doubt it will make much of a difference.
I think even an abandoned shopping cart would still manage to ding your door.  |
haha yeah damn those shopping carts!!!! i brought this up because one of my friends has running boards on his suv and no dings on his doors!! but there are a few lil marks on the running boards of his car.... so i was just wondering...
