Ok, so I have been driving my 2012 X5 35d for about 6 months and these are the little things that bug me, and should be easily fixed by BMW. Let me know if they are user issues and not the X5's
1. When I turn off the Nav Screen, it will turn itself back on whenever a message goes to the nav screen (like heated seat changes) and then it stays on. When I turn the car off and back on the NAV screen comes back on.
2. When random is enabled on the built in MP3 player, it changes songs immediately rather than waiting for the next song. The random feature does not stay active, it appears to turn off after the car is restarted.
3. When arming the alarm with the interior motion/movement detector disabled I have to use the remote, the exterior touch spots on the door handles won't work as the manual indicates they should (press twice) (comfort access)
4. When the rear temp controls are set to "Driver" it randomly turns off, it doesn't appears to be based on any button pushes in the back or turning off he car, it is just random.
5. Sometimes the rear hatch open/release button doesn't work, I have to get the remote out of my pocked and try that. Even that is a little flakey from time to time.
Otherwise, I simply love it and have had no issues to this point.
