I just purchased and brought to California another forum member's X5M. It recently had it's battery unplugged and I stupidly went to get the smog inspection done in order to get it registered and of course, it failed. The same thing happened with my e92 M3 so I knew exactly what the culprit was. I did the drive cycle this morning and the only thing that still isn't complete is the Secondary Air. I've attached a screenshot from the Carly app. Can someone confirm that the Secondary Air System exists in the X5M? I've searched the internet and I'm thinking yes, but I'm a little confused because the app says "Not Applicable" versus "Incomplete" for some of the other tests in the screenshot. At least from what I've read, the secondary air system would typically record after a cold start which doesn't seem to hard except for the fact that I've cold started a few times now and still no change to the status. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
