Im not sure about the apples/oranges in this case.
The first of the two turbos makes o lot of diffrent.
The thing i notice most is that you feel the power all the way.
With my X5 it drops of more and more but the X6 keep growing power all the way to the rpm limit... And you for sure feel the power.
I didnt expect that a diesel engine could feel so "sporty" and powerful.
And i did love my V8 gasoline engine
I have not tried the 3.5i gasoline, but im sure its a lovley engine.

About the apples/oranges...they are both fruits
