38,000 miles, and she was just flat-bedded to the dealer. Looks like the serpentine belt has come off/broke, causing loss of power steering and a whole host of other issues. We got a "battery discharge warning" yesterday, so the battery was depleted today when the belt let go. No electrical power really screws these cars up: TPMS warning, chassis/stability warning, transmission failure warning and overheating warning.
At the dealer now, but they won't get to it until tomorrow for the full diagnosis. Driving an E90 328i loaner in the mean time (5,000 miles on it....)
