That would have been a great trip, I am thinking of doing around Australia trip but its not possible with a X5, well it would be possible it just it would be wrecked by the time we got back.

You really need to have a full 4x4 (diff locks etc, and jacked up), you could stick to the bitumen roads but then thats not around Australia, it also takes around 3 months as well.

May do a few shorter trips to the wine country in NSW which would be a 2000klm trip. I have flown to Ayres Rock (the Dingo got my Baby fame) and driven back thru SA, thru the Barossa Valley wine area, then the Great Ocean Road into Melbourne Vic, then flown home to Brisbane.

We hope to get up your way in future to have a look around, this Christmas the family is going to Fiji (Turtle Is), my daughter is getting married, thats why I have bought a new X5 now as of after Christmas I will be broke!!!!!!.

MY22 X5 M-Sport 45e White, 22"rims, Red Calipers, Ceramic Pads. Better off saying what it does not have and that's a B&O Audio System, otherwise all option boxes are ticked.
