new to X5's. i really like the look of some of the members' X5's with the plus sized wheels but i think i'm trying to stay with 18's as i'd like to get off the beaten path occasionally.. so i'd like something that i can deflate a bit and can maybe take a bit more of a bite than the super low-profile tires/wheels. i'm also looking to get away from run flat.

so... having installed the flares.. i'm wondering how wide of a tire i can put on the stock 18's and then add spacers to get that aggressive look and fill out the fender. currently has stock 255/55/18s. i believe wheels are style 210/8.5 inch, ET46. i can always put on tires and then measure the gap for spacers. or do i get different wheels with different offset?
