FWIW, Scott26 (on another site) has said the M2 will be at the Tokyo Motor Show for sure (10/29 start) and, possibly, also at the LA auto show (11/17 start).
I could be wrong, but, I don't think he's ever offered the Frankfort show as a possibility for the M2 introduction.
