Holy cow. I dodged a bullet with the X5M. The warranty expires on Jan 3 and on Christmas, the car started shaking and I knew it was something with the injectors. I brought the car into the dealer yesterday and today they're replacing ALL of the injectors plus some other parts for free. I can't imagine this have happening to me just as soon as the warranty expired or something. It's at 46.7k miles and was problem free up until now.
