As the other poster said. Powder coating is the "right" way to do it but it does take more time to remove all the bits and reassembly. That is why many paint them instead. The results are pretty good if get it done right. Pretty horrible is they don't prep it and use the right temp paint for the calipers. Some shoot a clear on top and place stickers before the clear is shot on them.
